Show Sahara Correspondence. Mr. and Mrs. F. V. Howland called on Mr. and Mrs. A T. Griffin Grif-fin Saturday. Mr. Lee F. Doyle i spending a few days in the "mountains north of Sahara. Lawrence Meads and H. Adams were seen running horses near Sahara Sa-hara on Tuesday. Luella Maguusscn spent Tuesday Tues-day with her sister. Mrs. H. C. Davi. at Beryl. N. L. Meads wat with us at the party and club meeting on Saturday Sat-urday night. He spent Sunday with Mrs. Meads and the children and returned to his work on Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. A. E. Phillips left to look after the household for Mrs. J. A. Baker, her daughter-in-law at Mo-dena, Mo-dena, while Mrs. Baker is on her visit in the east. H. C. Davis of Beryl has had his car overhauled by Mr. Maurice Wilson of that place. Mrs. C. M. Magnussen went to Lund Thursday to visit Mr. Magnussen Mag-nussen and Mr. and Mrs. J. Warren. War-ren. Saharra was nearly washed off the map this week by one of the heaviest downpours of rain that it has experienced for some time, together with terrific lightning and thunder. For a time all traffic was stopped. The Federal building was standing in a lake and one had to wear rubber boots to get about the streets. Mr. and Mrs. II. T. Griffin, Mrs. V. M. Carlson and children Pearl and Victor Glenn, took a trip to Cedar Citv on Saturday. Mrs. Carlson had some dental Master Kenneth Davis left for his home in Los Angeles last Sunday Sun-day morning. |
