Show KLAN MEMBERS INVADE CHURCH Robed archers Parade Through Methodist Meth-odist Church Blacfcwell, Okla. More thnn 200 men, wearing robes of tho Ku Klux Klun, filed through the Flrtst Methodist Metho-dist church here last Sunday night, during church services, and, stopping In front of the Rev. Fred Mesh, the spokesman said : "We know you are not with us, hut we are behind you, .'1000 strong, In Kny county." Ills speech concluded, tho spokesman spokes-man turned and the leader of the group, bearing u huge cross lighted with torches, preceded the remainder of the body down an aisle and out the door. The Klansmen carried banners stating stat-ing "We stnml for 100 per cent Americanism" Amer-icanism" and "We bow only to the law, but we" want the law enforced by the right officers." The band disappeared almost Immediately Imme-diately after leaving the cuurch. The Rev. Mr. Mesh has been emphatic In his appeals for observance of the law and Its enforcement, according to members mem-bers of his congregation. |
