Show GOMER HSLETT , PASSES AWAY. Suffers Stroke Saturday Night 4'Which Resulted in Death Eurly Wednesday Morning. Tho peoplo of Ccdnr were startled Wednesday morning, to learn of tho death of Gomcr Coaslctt who passed away early that morning. Saturday Mr. Cosslctt seemed to bo feeling as well as ho over did and retired in tho evening with no feeling feel-ing of illness. During tho night ho began to take sick and soon suffered a paralytic stroko, which increased in intensity until tho end camo as nbovo stated. Mr. Cosslctt was a man whom everybody ev-erybody respected and has lived in this city Bi'nce his boyhood, coming from Wales when young. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints with his parents in his native na-tive country and tho family emigrated i shortly afterward, .comjtog directly to Utah, and after a short stay in Salt Lake moved to this city. Tho deceased during his residenco hero has always been an actlvo member mem-ber of tho choir, and was considered 1 to bo one of the best tenor singcra in tho organization. I Ho was never very actlvo in public j affairs, but was always ready for any ( improvement within reason that would advance tho progress of tho town in which ho lived. Ho was n hardworking man, a mason by profession, pro-fession, and in that capacity mado His living. ', Ho leaves two sons and four daugh-1 daugh-1 ters to mourn his departure, his wife having preceded him to tho Great 1 Beyond several years ago. i |
