Ky., is tho bomo of a man who has mado a name for himself In i world of letters Robert Burns Wilsou. lie is a poet of no mean ability, and an artist as well. Mr. Wilson Is a man of moods. He Cannot work unless tho Inspiration moves thlm. But while tho spell Is on he Is Indefatigable, In-defatigable, hardly taking tlmo to eat. In fact, ha forgets to do so frequently, and, after taLIng bowl of oatmeal and cream for brcakf'Ht, will paint or write until warned by the darkness to put aside) his tools. As nn artist be Is self-taught.and self-taught.and has been houkht iiunNS vriL- both an apt pupil box. and a painstaking mister. Ho Is still very young. "When the Evening Cometh On" is perhaps bis moat beautiful poem. Afterward Af-terward he put his conception of evening even-ing into a now shape that of a water color, which pleased tho eye of Gov. Buckuer, and now adorns the walls of Kentucky's Executive Mansion. |
