Show OGDEN, UTAH. j The young lady graduates of the Sa- I cred Heart academy were given an outing out-ing Wednebday of . last week at the I Hermitage in Ogden canyon, which they greatly enjoyed. Mrs. J. S. G. Langsdorf left on Wednesday for-Chicago, to visit her mother during the summer. Friday evening of last week the closing clos-ing exercises of St'. Joseph's school for boys were held in the hall of the Sacred J Heart academy, and were listened to by a large audience. Mrs. J. McCullough. sister of Mrs. D, W. Ellis of this city, accompanied by her children, is visiting relatives in Ogden. ' Mrs. E. T. Hulaniskl. accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. H. C. Wood, has returned from her visit, at Spencer, Ida. AT THE SACRED HEART. The junior day exercises of the Sacred Sa-cred Heart academy were held Tuesday Tues-day morping at the academy. The decorations were potted plants, ferns and palms, the class colors being cream and white. A most excellent programme, pro-gramme, mainly musical, was rendered, the little girls of the preparatory class giving a . rendition of the operetta "June Roses." Rev. P. M. Cushnahan presented the; certificates. After the completion of the programme the art t and fancy work of the students was ex-i ex-i hibited to the large attendance of relatives rela-tives and friends of the students. |
