Show v A Coincidence, or An Answer to Prayer? A leading Chicago paper is authority for tbe following incident: Recently a poor Portugese immigrant im-migrant was lost in the streets of that great city. He was alone and friendless, and could find no one who was able to understand him.. Finally, overcome over-come with grief and fatigue, he sank down upon the steps of St. Peter's church the ' Franciscan church in the thickly settled district inhabited by all sorts and conditions of men chiefly, sad to say, not of the best class. "Mary, Mother, help me !" he cried appealingly; and there he was found in a short time by the only Portugese policeman on the Chicago police force, who gave him care and obtained ob-tained employment for him.
