Show EUREKA NEW Sentinel: Miss Eva Dunn, daughter of H. C. Dunn of the Carson News, died in Oakland, Cal., last week. She was employed for several years in the V. & T. railroad office and was one of the most popular young lafdies in Carson. -- James L. Butler, the discoverer of Tonopah, arrived in Eureka Saturday I from San Francisco. He spent a ! couple of days here renewing old acquaintances ac-quaintances before leaving for his ranch in Nye county. . There was an exodus of Eurekans to Tonopah the first of the week. The departures were: Mrs. H. A. Knight and son, Wallace; Attorneys Peter Breen and George A. Bar tie tt, J. L. Butler, Dayton Coleman. Alex. McCone and others have bought out the Nevada foundry at Reno. The change will take place on Nov. 1. Attorney Alfred Cartz and daugh-tre daugh-tre were seriously injured Sunday evening of last week in a runaway accident ac-cident near the Carson Indian school. |
