Tu a cemetery .-near 'Dublin the following words appear on a tombstone: "Here lies John Hurley, whose father and mother died while on their wav from America.- If they had lived they would have been buried here." The following epitaph adorns the tomb of a gravedigger in the Taibach cemetery in the south of Wales: "Hurrah, comrades, parson is. dead ! If he had lived he would have buried all of us." ,' Here is another curious epitaph which was recently re-cently discovered; it marks the grave of an indefatigable in-defatigable smoker and contains only the following four words : . . , "My pipe is out."
