To see ninetyiTlittle boys and eighty-four little girls in their gala clothes in procession to church is a pretty sight. At St. Patrick's school Sunday morning these little Catholics gathered gath-ered and then marched at 8 o'clock to the church, where they received their first communion from the hand of Rev. Father De Siere. This always is a reverential occasion occa-sion for the children and one to which they look forward with eagerness. At 2 o'clock these same children went again to the church to be enrolled en-rolled in the Society of the Virgin and wear the scapular which is the badge of the society. In the afternoon the service, was also conducted by Rev. Father De Siere. Mr. and Mrs. Con Kelly have returned re-turned from their bridal trip and are at home at the Finlen. One of the prettiest events of the past week was the marriage of Miss Stella Robinson to Edward Feeley. The marriage took place at Sacred Heart church on Monday evening, Rev. Father Callahan officiating. Miss Kooinson is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Robinson of Salt Lake, but recently has resided in Butte. Mrs. Maurice Rowe was matron of honor. After the ceremony a tempting tempt-ing supper was served. The table decorations dec-orations were smilax, white roses and carnations. Maurice Rowe acted as best man. |
