Show ! O&ifuary. i . Dooley. The funeral of the late Mrs. N. P. Dooley took place from St. Mary's Ca-thtral Ca-thtral last Saturday morning. Solemn requiem high mass was sung by Rev. Father Morrisscy, who delivered the iuneral sermon. The Gregorian requiem was sung by the cathedral- choir, while little Millie Williams the Clara Fifek the sweet child singers rendered solos. It was Mrs. Dooley's dying request for the little lit-tle girls to sing for her funeral. The floral offerings which were very beautiful, were placed on the altars in accordance with another request of the deceased. The funeral cortege was from the residence of Mrs. D. .H. Bero, who was a near personal friend of Mrs. Dooley's?. The remains were taken away on the r.oon train for California and placed with her husband in the family, vault by Mr. Dooley. Curtis Warren, a brother bro-ther of Mrs. Dooley's, accompanied the remains. The lovable little woman is'deeply regretted by hosts of friends, who will ever remember her tenderly" for 'her many noble eiualities. i A convert to the Catholic faith, her faith was truly beautiful, her life most ! edifying and the memories -of h-?r exemplary ex-emplary life will be ever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her, and knowing her well, loved her, i May she rest in peace! ' Yates. Mrs. A. J. MacMillen -and her sister, Misf Louie Yates, left Salt Lake last week on the sad errand of taking the remains of their mother, Mrs. A. R. Yates, to Dodgeville. Wis. Mrs. A. R. Yates died on Christmas morning. She was? formerly a resident of Dodgeville, but had been s-taying with her daughter in Salt Lake for some lime. Mrs. Yates was of a very philanthropic disposition , and had a large circle of friends. To the devoted children is extended the sincere sympathy sym-pathy of all in their bereavement. Gebhardt. Grief over the loss of a child about a year ago hastened the death of Mrs. Susannah Gebhardt. wife of George Gebhardt. at 126 West First North street. The immediate cause of death was ascribed to liver complications. The deceased was 42 years of age. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon of last week at 2 o'clock from the funeral fun-eral chapel of Joseph William Taylor, 21 South West Temple street. .Interment .Inter-ment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Mrs. Gebhardt had never, become reconciled to the death of her child. Ever .since the child passed away the mother had been inconsolable. Night and day she grieed for the child. It ! ruined her health and added to her organic or-ganic trouble. There was sincere grief in the hearts of all who knew and loved the truly -admirable woman, whose life wap filled with the deepest porrow, caused by the death of two lovely children. chil-dren. . It is consoling to those who knew and loved her best, that' her tender mother-heart mother-heart has at last found rest with the dear ones gone before. |
