The ticket returns for the "Brownie Band" are not yet all in. Those who nave not returned cither tickets or money are earnestly requested to at-1 at-1 tend to the matter at once. Those in charge of the entertainment are very desirous of making a statement of the proceeds and cannot while tickets are still out. 4 . An effort will be made to organize an i orchestra of at least eight pieces for the Easter services at St. Mary's cathedral. ca-thedral. There are many good musicians mu-sicians among the young people of the cathedral parish, and their services wouia ne appreciated. ' i i The members of the Altar society of St. Mary's cathedral met last Monday afternoon and elected officers for the coming year. The ladies elected are: Mrs. J. M. Moore, president; Mrs. J. De Jong, vice president; Mrs. R. Mor- I rison, secretary and treasurer; Rev. I Father Curran, spiritual diector. The retiring officers were: Mrs. William McDermott, Mrs. X. P. Dooley and Mis. D. H. Bero. The past officers are ei. titled to the appreciation and gratitude grati-tude of all for their untiring efforts I during the past year to make the Altar society a success. The new officers j will receive the encouragement and ! assistance of all In any work they may undertake during the coming year. ' .' The members of the' Guild of St. Anthony met last Tuesday at the "Wilson hotel. Mrs. A. II. S. Bird presided pre-sided over the meeting and many en-I en-I 1 coumging reports were received from the ladies who are doing the collect ing. The amount of charity done by I the Guild already is truly astonishing, and those who attended the meeting i on Tuesday gave much serious refiee- ! non 10 me ouroens that have been so patiently borne for many years past ' by lit. -Rev.
