Show BILLINGS. (Correspondence -Intermountain Catholic.) Billings. Mont., May 28. The Riht Rev. John Brondel arrived here last Thursday from his trio abroad. He reports having had a very pleasant trip. He certainly looks it. On Sunday he preached at high mass. In the even-i even-i ing he delivered a lecture on his trip i abroad. The attendance was the lars:- ; est m me ntstory ot the town. His ! Lordship left for Helena on the 1:40 j a. m. train. Mr. G. A. Griggs, cashier of the Y'ellowstone National Bank, was j confirmed by Bishop Brondel af h'sh mass. Rev. A. Van Clavenbeck also ! converted Mrs. Griggs some time ago. Mrs. Griggs has returned from Boston, Bos-ton, where she spent about two vears studying voca, music. She possesses a very fine soprano voice and is now-solo now-solo singer, with Mr. Griggs as organist, organ-ist, placing the Billings choir second to none in Montana. Father Battens of St. Lawrence, Butte, was a visitor to Billings lest week. Father Van Clarenbeck will leave here in about a month on a trip abroad. ' |
