Show J RHYOLlTE, NEV. Len P. McGarry returned Monday from a business trip to Goldfield. Mrs. Matt Finnegan left Tuesday to spend some time in Los Angeles on account of her health. James McEntee, the Rhyolite merchant, mer-chant, has been in Skidoo all the week examining the district generally, and especially the Green Monster group of claims. John McFadden, engineer at the Homestake, and Miss Kate Lyons of Park City, Utah, who were married in Salt Lake Sept. 6, returned to Rhyolite the first of last week. They have taken tak-en a residence on Smith street. The Altar society of the Rhyolite Catholic church met last Friday evening even-ing at the house of Mrs. Mullen on Colorado Col-orado near Magnolia. The ladles of the society brought their husbands and gentlemen friends. Quite a neat sum was netted for the purposes of the society, so-ciety, and a very enjoyable evening was spent. An exciting game of progressive pro-gressive high-five was participated in by fhirty ladles and gentlemen, after which dainty refreshments were served. Bullfrog Miner. |
