Show THE ORPHANAGE CONCERT. The annual concert for the benefit of St. Ann's Orphanage on last Saturday eA-ening Avas a signal artistic and financial success. For once the good people of Salt Lake cast their bread upon the Avaters for a noble cause and had not long to Avait for an ample reAvard. Upon Miss Xora Gleason, who worked so devotedly de-votedly and indefatigably for the success of the enterprise, too much praise cannot be bestowed. Her patience and tact in training the wee tots for their parts is especially Avorthy of mention. Whilst there Avere many features of most excellent merit, the proficiency and Avinsomeness of the dear little ones alone afforded an entertainment both thoroughly enjoyable and highly meritorious. |
