Show GRAYMOOR CONVERTS RECEIVE CONFIRMATION At noon on Wednesday, November 10, all the members of the Society of the Atonement, of Gfymoor, Garrison, N. Y., who were received into the Catholic Cath-olic Church in a body on October 30, were .confirmed by Archbishop Farley of New York. The ceremony took place at Graymoor, in the chapel of the Sister's Sis-ter's community, which was crowded with friends and spectators. . Archbishop Archbish-op Farley was assisted by Rt. Rev. Msgr. C. G. O'Keefe of Hifhland Falls, N. Y.; Very Rev. Msgr. James E. Lewis, Rev. Henry Lafort of Peekskill and Rev. Patrick H. Drain of Cold Spring. Immediately after the administration of confirmation all the members of the society were invested with the habit of the Third Order of St. Francis by Rev. Father Paschal Robinson, O. F. M., of Washington, D. C, who had been specially spe-cially delegated for that purpose. Paul James Francis, founder of the society, entered Dunwoodie Seminary this week to make a course of special studies preparatory to his ordination. |
