Show Personal. A slight improvement is noted in the condition of Miss Florence Broderick of 1627 Albion street, who was injured in a tramway accident four weeks ago. Mire Broderick is stil at Mercy hospital. Mrs. Fred K. Paul of the cathedral cathed-ral parish visited In Colorado Springs the early part of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Augustus H. Manty have gone to Texas for a stay of several months. Mrs. R. R. Keith of San Francisco is spending some time in Denver. Miss Elizabeth Kelly left on Sunday for Kansas City to spend Thanksgiving with her brothr-r, LewKelly. One of the most delightful social events of the week was the card party given on Monday afternoon by Mrs. C. M. Ford at her home, 1236 Ogden street. Thirty-two guests accepted Mrs. Ford's gracious hospitality and enjoyed a delightful de-lightful afternoon with six-handed euchre. Mrs. Fred P. Johnson added to the pleasure of Che occasion by several vocal numbers. . Mr and Mrs. Charles U. Mullen and Mrs. Frank Kelly visited in Georgetown last week. William Buckley has recently returned from Chicago and Cincinnati, and is with his daughter, Mrs. J. J. Quinn, near University park. Robert M. Quigley has perchased the beautiful residence of Tyson S. Dines, on Colfox avenue and Vine street, and will make his home there in the future. fu-ture. Mrs. George W. Prior has fully recovered recov-ered from her recent illness. John and Tony Malich of Montrose, Colorado, were enrolled last week among the pupils of Sacred Heart College. Assistant Fire Chief Patrick J. Boyne suffered a dislocation of his right shoulder and other injuries last week when his automobile became unmanag-able unmanag-able and Jumped the Cherry creek embankment, em-bankment, falling a distance of. ten feet. That Mr. Boyne was not more seriously hurt is a matter for congratulation. |
