Show I Ml HALIGWS iE : 4 4 4 4 4 Right Rev. George M. Lenihan, Bishop of Auckland, who was the college col-lege guest for about a week, left on Friday for San Francisco, en route to New Zealand. His second visit has indefinitely increased the respect, esteem, es-teem, admiration and love which his first visit so spontaneously evoked. Pleasing and inspiring souvenirs of his episcopal Qualities and charming personality per-sonality will long be retained by his now many and devoted Salt Lake friends. The members of the brass band had a trolley ride on Thursday evening. The car which carried them was beautifully beauti-fully decorated. With the exception of the college banner, Old Glory was the only bunting, and it was in profusion. From every available part of the top proudly it floated, lit up by the brilliant bril-liant light which streamed from the scores of electric lights alt round the car. The ride lasted three hours, during dur-ing which time Salt Lake City has seldom sel-dom enjoyed a more delightful feast of martial melody. On Brigham street the residence of Rieht Rev. Bishop Scanlan Scan-lan was serenaded. Holy Cross hospital hos-pital was treated to three fine musical selections: and here, in turn, the Sisters, Sis-ters, with their usual, exceeding kindness kind-ness and courtesy to All Hallows, treated treat-ed the musicians to an elegant repast of what young people so much ijoy. Leaving Holy Cross hospital, the car sped down First South, halting for a short time a little beyond Sixth East, to give the band an opportunity of serenading the residence of Mr. and Mrs. James lvers, where Right Rev. At St. Anne's Orphanage a musical seclection was also given. v The examinations have been going on during the week, and these will be the test for promotion. , On Saturday the results will be read in the College hall, after which the first Dart of the closing clos-ing exercises will take place, i. e., the distribution of medals, premiums and certificates. On Monday evening the final closing exercises will take place, not in the opera house, as indicated in the invitations, invi-tations, but in the Salt Lake theatre.
