Show GREAT FALLS, MONT. Bishop Lenihan Donated $2,000 Towards New Cathedral. In carrying out the statement made by Bishop Lenihan during the celebration celebra-tion of the Christmas mass a week ago to the effect that he expected the next Christmas mass would be celebrated in a new and much more commodious cathedral, ca-thedral, the bishop Sunday announced, during high mass in St. Ann's cathedral, cathe-dral, that he would donate $2,000 toward to-ward the erection of a new cathedral for the diocese, of which amount $1,000 would be devoted to the building fund and the other $1,000 would be used in the purchase of vestments and holy vessels for use in the new edifice. With the erection of the diocese of Great Falls and the subsequent need of a larger and more imposing place of worship in this city.- as the see of the new diocese, the demands for a new building are imperative and it is expected that with the bishop's name heading the list that enough money can be secured J.o go ahead with the work which was started several years ago. Bishop Lenihan announced Sunday that the estimated cost of the new building being considered would be about $45,000, and that a building would be put up which would prove to be one of the hondsomest in the west. The building will be put up on the foundations already in place at the northeast corner of Third avenue north and Seventh street, and it is expected that work will be commenced within the next half year. Joseph Trinastich and John Martinich. The funeral of J. D. Lennon. the Montana Central telegrapher who died Saturdav morning, was held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from McAllister's McAllis-ter's ' undertaking rooms, where services serv-ices were conducted by Rev. Father Pauwelyn. The casket was covered by a number of handsome floral tributes, among which was a wreath from the telegraphers, a pillow from the family bearing the word "Papa." a casket bouquet from Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Can-avan Can-avan and several bouquets from other friends and relatives of the deceased. Among those in attendance upon the services were the aged father and a sifter of the deceased, who had come from Colfax, Wash., after receipt of news of the death. ROCK SPRINGS". WYO. A pretty home wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Denis I. Waters, on Wednesday evening, when their diushter Nellie was united in marriage to Professor T. K. Mci'm-tin. The CM-emony was performed by Father Fath-er O'Connor and was witnessed by about forty relatives and friends. The bride wore a gown of white cashmere with pearl trimmings and was attended at-tended by Miss Hannah Walters.
