Show Obituary. Murray. j The funeral services over the late Martin Murray were held from St. Mary's cathedral last Sunday afternoon. after-noon. The deceased was a. native of New York and was 50 years old. He was for many years a resident of this city, being a faithful member of St. Patrick's church. He. was an honest, genial, kind-hearted kind-hearted man, who won the respect of all who knew him. To his sorrowing-wife sorrowing-wife and children is extended the sympathy sym-pathy of a legion of friends. . . . - McDonald. Mrs. James G. McDonald, wife of the well-known business man. died suddenly sud-denly at the family residence last Friday Fri-day morning. .The funeral was Monday Mon-day at 1 o'clock from the Eighth ward meeting-house, and later the "remains of Mrs. McDonald and her infant babe were laid at rest in the City cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was a native of this city, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cartwright, and was a few months past 38 years of age. In additisn to her husband, Mrs. McDonald Mc-Donald leaves four children three girls and a boy; two sisters, Mrs. Charles F. Solomon and Miss Myrtle Cartwright and John Cartwright. The sympathy of a host of friends is extended to the stricken, family in their bereavement. She was a charming woman of lov- , able disposition, a beautiful wife and mocner. May her last sleep be sweet! 4 McGraw. . Mrs. Isabelle McGraw, wife of Dennis McGraw the well-known railroad man, died last Monday at the Holy Cross hospital. The deceased was a native of New York and was 56 years old. Her funeral occurred from St. Mary's cathedral cathe-dral on Wednesday morning. Rev. Father Kiely celebrated the requiem mass and preached the funeral sermon, which was a sincere and beautiful beau-tiful tribute to the life of the truly Christian woman. No death of recent times in the parish par-ish brought such deep sorrow to the hearts of so many friends as that of the deceased. If ever a woman lived a holy edifying life; a life that was daily and hourly filled with deeds of prayer arid kindness, kind-ness, that vyoman was Mrs. McGraw. She had the simple, innocent nature of a child, a happy, sweet disposition, and the kindest, and most sympathetic of hearts. Never did an uncharitable word pass from her lips, and in this alone she was; to everyone a perfect example of a true Christian. To the bereaved husband and loving daughter is extended the earnest sympathy sym-pathy of hosts of friends. , Words are powerless to comfort them. In their great grief it is consoling to" know that the dear wife and mother has reached the haven foi'.whi'chd,yr)ng' 'her entire i life she was'weU prepared. , ftuietly as a little child' sinking to rest she en- tered into her final sleep without fear, confident in the goodness of the God she had'so faithfully- worshipped a,nd obedient to His holy will. The music for the funeral was rendered ren-dered by the young girls of the Junior choir at the request of the deceased. She particularly requested for the little , folk to sing "Nearer, My God, To : Thee." ' ' May her sleep be as calm as her life ; was holy.
