Show I KEITH-ESKRIDGE. ! Wedding That Eclipsed Recent Social Events. No wedding of recent times in Salt Lake, both in elaborate preparation and brilliant effect, eclipsed that of the Keith-Kskrldge wedding, which took place last Wednesday evening at the residence of the bride's father. Hon. David Keith. The floral decoration and the electrical elec-trical display was the most elaborate ever before seen at a house wedding. The entire house was a bower of beauty, beau-ty, each room being filled with a profusion pro-fusion of American Beautv roses. I The s.-ene in the main hall was slm- P'y gorgeous. 0 time or expense were j spared in m-iking the most artistic j and original effects. One whole section sec-tion of the spacious room was taken up by the improvised chancel, and the design of the gates, canopv and side walls, nil of fresh cut flowers, was tho cause of ihp most complimentary remarks re-marks from those present. It was wholly the work of the Salt Ike Floral company of this city and great credit Is due the firm for the perfect per-fect success of the decorations. The hall is an octagon and extends up to the. roof through a well. From the roof and extending clown to the first floor hung a mammoth floral bell of yellow and white roses. The railing rail-ing of the well was hung with vines and studded with roses. From the bell were stretched yellow and white ribbons rib-bons vhirO-i tavminolo n f f V. oonrnv over the bridal bower in the hall. This was arranged like great portals under un-der an arch and flanked on each side by a panel in lovely flowers. Two lit-j lit-j tie gates were guarding the interior and the whole design was very beauti-I beauti-I ful. ! At 8 o'clock, to the strains of the i Lohengrin wedding march the bridal party descended tlie stairs. Dorothy Bamberger and Mildred Ferguson, wearing dainty tulle dresses and carry- ing baskets of marguerites, came first, followed by Master David Keith, j ring bearer. The bridesmaids. Miss I Leta McMillan and Mis-.? Elizabeth i Dern, wore beautiful gowns of white mousseline ever yellow. j Mrs. Albert Allen, the matron of I honor, wore an elegant gown of yellow I chiffon. The bride looked exceedingly lovely in her exquisite wedding gown of point lace over taffeta, trimmed with clusters clus-ters of lilies of the valley. The groom was attended bv Mr. Watrous of Seattle. Right Rev. Bishop Scanlan performed per-formed the marriage ceremony, assisted assist-ed by Rev. Father Kiely.. The bride v a charming girl, whose lovable disposition has endeared her to hosts of friends. Mr. Eskridge is a prominent business man of Seattle, son j of Colonel Eskridge. formerly of Fort Douglas. j Mr. and Mrs. Eskridge have gone to ! California on their wedding tour, to re-j re-j turn in a few week-.? to Seattle, where they will reside for the future. !
