The members of the Alumnae association asso-ciation of St. Mary's acedomy will inert next Sunday at 3 o'clock. . - The members of the St. Cecilia chorus cho-rus meet every Sunday after 9 o'clock , mass Henry Medley, a leading basso of San Francisco, was the soloist at the Cathedral last Sunday. Mr. Medley has a magnificent voice of splendid range and great volume. He displays rare intelligence in the control of his voice, intelligence that is not always found in singers with powerful voices. Mr. Medley has been soloist in St. f Mary's Cathedral. St. Charles Church of the Holy Redeemer and all the principal churches of San Francisco. The members of the Altar society i mn last Monday for the usual monthly I meeting. Owing to the retiring, mod- est dispositions of the members, the two local reporters of the Catholic were unable to get any "news" of the meeting. Miss May O'Niel will be the soloist at the 9 o'clock mass on Sunday. Miss Martha O'Connor was the soloist so-loist at the 9 o'clock mass last Sunday. Sun-day. The members of the Junior choir have rehearsal every Saturday at S:30 for t he little girls and boys, and 4:15 for the young girls. During this month the Rosary is said every night at 7:30; on Wednesday Wednes-day and Friday nights Benediction of the. Blessed Sacrament is given. |
