Al! persons under 21 years or over 6') years of age, those who are engaged in hard labor, the sick and convalescent convales-cent and those who cannot fast without with-out injury to their health are exempt from the obligation of fasting. 3. To afford tiie faithful opportuni ties of gaining the graces of the Lemon i season, it is hereby ordered that in ad-j ad-j dition to the usual Sunday devotions, Lenten exercises be held on two evenings even-ings of e :yrrh week in all the churches of the diocese to which are attached, resident pssuors. On one of the even-! ings an instruction is to be given, on the other tii Stations of the Cross, and permission is hereby made for the Benediction Ben-ediction of the Blessed Sacrament on both evenings.
