The chief reason given , for his inability, ina-bility, is the poor condition of health of himself and other members of his family. -- . . Thomas Keough. who has just returned re-turned from a trip to Chicago, gives a rather discouraging report as to conditions of the live stock market. Coming west. Mr. Keough noticed that Steele which had been intended for the eastern markets had been unloaded and placed in pnstures and feeding grounds all the way along. This condition con-dition has been brought about by the gieat .packing strike. Mr. Keough took back horses, which could be handled, han-dled, the strike not afTecting anything any-thing except animals ' intended for slaughter. |
