Show Exercise for Double Chin. A double chin is homely in any one, and it always gives the face a heavy look that is anything but pretty. A double chin may entirely spoil the outline out-line of the face. However, ' a double chin is not hopeless by any means If you are regular In taking your exercises. exer-cises. Do your exercises in a night gown or some other loose gown, bo that your neck will be left free and easy and the reft of your body will be in a perfectly comfortable position. The first movement is to thrust the Jaw out so that you can feel the muscles of the throat pull. Then, before be-fore the feeling of this pull is gone, draw the chin back as far as it will go. After this exercise tilt the head up and down until tired, although this must not be done too violently or a headache may result. Now, with the chin thrust out, tip the head over to one side, always feeling conscious of the play of the different sets of muscles in the neck. The exercises should be followed with a dash of cold water over the throat, neck and shoulders. The results re-sults of the exercise will be seen in a week or two. One must be careful also not to get into that bad habit of letting the jaw hang relaxed. |
