Show f TRINIDAD, COLO. I l Trinidad will in all probability have the pleasure of hearing Bishop J. J. Keane of Wyoming, whose sermons and lectures at Denver auditorium this week have rilled that immense edifice with thousands of interested and appreciative ap-preciative auditors. Officers of Holy Trinity council No. 72 met last night and decided to Invite Bishop Keane to deliver one of his famous lectures here. Because of the number of engagements the bishop has to meet the lecture will probably . be delivered at the West theatre the evening of Feb. 19. Bishop Keane's presence in Trinidad will be welcomed by all who like to hear one of the most eminent orators of the day and at the same time a most distinguished distin-guished and learned theologian of the Catholic church. The immense au diences which have filled the Denver auditorium this week are the best evidence evi-dence not alone of the popularity of the lecturer, but of the strong, masterly and convincing manner in which he has handled the different subjects. It Is noteworthy, too, that a respectable percentage of the audiences is non-Catholic, non-Catholic, and in obedience to requests, questions affecting dogmas and disci- i pline of the Catholic church have been j propounded and answered by the right reverend lecturer. In securing the services of Bishop Keane for Trinidad the Knights of Columbus have undertaken under-taken to furnish a rare treat of Intellect Intel-lect and eloquence for the citizens of Trinidad. It is seldom that a lecturer of the high station and exalted character charac-ter of Bishop Keane can be induced- to travel so far, and, In securing him the Knights of Columbus have demonstrated demonstrat-ed the power of organization and the desire to help the people of Trinidad to hear one of the greatest platform orators ora-tors in the United States.
