Show . A Choir of Babies. A writer in the Sacred Heart Review telU of a singular occurrence at the Home for Destitute Catholic Children in Boston. On being invited to. Benediction, the writer was told that the "babies" would sing, and thought the usual choir of children was meant; but no for the first time on record, babies all under 0 years of age sang at Benediction. Father McCarthy, from the cathedral, officiated, and a dozen little tots sang out. brave and true, the "O Salutaris." the "Tantum Ergo" and the responses, re-sponses, and, after Benediction, the "Adeste Fi-deles." Fi-deles." We are assured that the words were distinctly dis-tinctly said, and the most approved pronunciation of the Latin was given. |
