Show I I j DEATH OF MRS. KEARNS, NAVAN It is our melancholy duty this week to record the. death of Mrs. Kearns, widow of the late Joseph Kearns, of Watergate street. Navan. which occurred oc-curred after a brief illness on St. Stephen's day. The deceased lady, who was in the prime of life, was in excellent ex-cellent health up to about a fortnight before, when she contracted a severe cold, which subsequently developed into in-to pneumonia, and, though the best medical skill procurable was availed of and everything done to ..combat, the disease, it terminated fatally on the above date. She belonged to a highly respected Navan family, her husband, the late Mr. Kearns. beins in his day one of the foremost citi.ens of Navan. The deceased was a good and dr-voul Catholic, and her death, happening so rather suddenly and at such -a comparatively com-paratively early age. is very much regretted re-gretted by all who knew her. In union with the many friends of the deee :veii we desire to offer her relatives our sincere sympathy in their sad bereavement. bereave-ment. The interment took place on the 28th ult. in Ardmulchan cemetery, the" funeral being large and representative represen-tative of Navan and district.
