Show I "SUFFER LITTLE CHILDREN." I i On next Monday at Saltair all the ! i orphans from the St. Ann's orphanage will attend Catholic day. They will 7 be the guests for the trip out and back of the railroad company, and a luncheon has been provided for them through the generosity of some of the wealthy and tender-hearted among the r congregation of St. Mary Magdalen, l It Is hoped that those who attend the ' general Catholic celebration will re member to help give the little home-Ipps home-Ipps ones a good time. A child's good ! . time doesn't mean very much to a I ', grown-up. but It means such a lot to 1 - the little ones, and it is a very easy I thing to provide. Also it is a rather 1 i hopeless effort for , a grown-up to i amuse himself riding on merry-go- o rounds and roller coasters and scenic railways alone and besides it looks foolish. If you want to get square with yourself for your selfishness during dur-ing the past few weeks or months, to get a new viewpoint toward !ife or an excuse to ride the merry-go-rounds, by i f all means adopt an orphan for the af- S ternoon. Besides, you'll get in good I with the Bishop. ! RUTHERFORD CORBIN. |
