Show J. C, HEESCH, Plumbing and Heating. The subject of this sketch was one of the first men to practice the trade of plumbing in Salt Lake City. In T571 be came to this city from Omaha. Neb., and entered the employ of the Salt Lake Gas company, as a plumber. Six years later he formed a 'partnership with I:. M. K'.ler-beck K'.ler-beck and engaged in the plumbing and heating business under the firm name of Heesch & Ellerbeck. From the start, this firm proved successful and in the twenty twen-ty years following the formation of this partnership Heesch & Ellerbeck did the plumbing or heating, or both, in many of Salt Lake's larger business blocks and residences. Numbered among these are the Progress building, the Scott. Auer-bach Auer-bach and the McCornick buildings, the McCornick residence, Mcintosh residence and the resilience of F. S. Richards. In Salt Lake and moved to Montana. In 1902 he returned here and again entered into the plumbing business, this time bj himself. Work executed by him during the past five years include the heating and ventilating in the New Masonic temple tem-ple and the heating and plumbing in the plant of the Tellufide Power company at Provo Canyon. This is the largest hot water wa-ter plant in the west.- Mr. Heesch is located at IIS West Second Sec-ond South street. He does a general line of plumbing, steam and hot water heating heat-ing and not only does his work promptly, but guarantees it to be first-class in every respect. . |
