"A large and enthusiastic congregation met after mass orTSunday, June 6, and decided to have a new church, one that will be a credit to every loyal Catholic in this enterprising camp. Rev. W. K. Ryan celebrated the mass and presided at the meeting after mass. Father Ryan can get Just about what he wants in Bingham, for he has the affection and esteem of all. both Catholics and non-Catholics, so within a few minutes the church was practically started. Bingham Catholics are anxiously awaiting await-ing Father Ryan's next visit, when the ground will be selected and the erection of the new edifice begun. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gibbons were in Salt Lake last week. C. H. Pearce, Felix McDonald, John McDonald, Dr. A. L. Castleman and Ed Byrnes are af the head of a movement move-ment to install a new water system at Upper Bingham. |
