Show I OBITUARY. I i - 1 Scheel. j The deepest and tenderest sympathy j of many friends is extended to Mrs. : Jennie .Scheel over the death of her! bright little daughter, Margaret E., who j died last Saturday of diphtheria. She- j was the granddaughter of James Earle. the well known mining man, and daughter of William Scheel, who died four years ago. Surely a sweeter or more lovable child nver lived than little Margaret. Unusually bright in school, she was dearly loved by teachers and pupils. or so young a child she was deeply religious, always wanting to attend church, being a faithful little singer in the Junior choir. Not only in disposition disposi-tion was she attractive, but she was very pretty, with great beautiful eye.s and a charming, winsome face. She was a quaint, serious little soul, quite wise for her years. A few hours before she died she said to her mother: "Mamma, "Mam-ma, if I don't get well, bury me in papa's grave," which was done, the grave in Mount Olivet being opened and the tiny casket placed within. Words are powerless to comfort the young mother, who has had her share of life's sorrows. The only consolation for her is the knowledge that her clear child is 1 happy in heaven, away from all the j cares, trials and griefs of the world. I Safe in the care of God's angels the pure little soul has found the better life. |
