Show Knights of Columbus. Salt Lake council adjourned their meeting quite early on last Wednesday night in order to attend the St. Patrick's Pat-rick's entertainment at All Hallows college. The Very Rev. J. J. Guinan, president of All Hallows college, extended ex-tended a most cordial initation to the council, and the Knights attended in a body. The council is making elabejrate preparations prep-arations for the exemplification of the first, second and third degrees to be given on the first Sunday following Easter. A class of forty-five candidates candi-dates Is very anxiously awaiting this great day In order to see, hear and t know. The council received an invitation from Baker City Council No. 849 to attend the dedication C services of St. Francis de Sales cathedral at Baker City, Ore., on April 18. It is expected that an unusually large number will be- present at the next meeting; as very important business will be transacted, and Lecturer Fanning Fan-ning is preparing something of extraordinary extraor-dinary interest. J. B. Cosgriff has returned from an extended trip in California. While absent ab-sent he attended many meetings of the various California councils. The regular weekly meeting of council coun-cil 602 was held om Tuesday evening last. The regular council business was transacted, nothing out of the ordinary being recorded. y Brothers Farley of Denver, Gilbert of Los Angeles and McGInnis of Detroit visited the members in session and entertained en-tertained them with their Irish wit and the doings of the various councils in their cities. Visiting members are always warmly welcomed, and the Salt Lake council is always glad to greet their brothers from other cities. As soon as all returns are received from members attending the recent dance the entertainment committee intends in-tends to arrange for another dance, card party or some similar form of amusement for the members. The lecturer, assisted by his brilliant array of talented associates, furnished a lot of fun for all. The grand knight admonished all members to attend the benefit for St Ann's orphanage at Salt Lake theatre on the 83lh. James P.
