Show CHEYENNE, WYO. (Special Correspondence.) Cheyenne, Wyo., Nov. 21. Owing to Thanksgiving coming on Thursday the schools of the city were dismissed for Thursday and Friday. The university football team defeated the Eleventh Infantry of Fort Russell Saturday by a score of 12 to 0. It was one of the poorest games of the season. sea-son. . President Tisdel of the Laramie university, uni-versity, delivered his second lecture of the ShakespeTiVe series Friday night. His subject was Romeo and Juliet" and was well rendered. R. P. Fuller, former deputy to Secretory Sec-retory of State Chatterton, will be appointed ap-pointed Governor-elect Brooks' private secretary. Frank Nolan, who was seriously injured in-jured in a wreck at Azusa station, is still in the hospital at Rock Springs. He is much improved and will be brought home in a few weeks. Professor Hunter, teacher of sciences in the High school, recently resigned his position owing to ill health. His successor has not yet been appointed. 9 |
