Show THATCHER e THATCHER Mrs. Arroet Bennett Ben-nett is suffering with a broken wrist received as a result of a fali. Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Mendenhall were business visitors in Ogden Wednesday and Thursday. The Thatcher Hornets were defeated de-feated by the Franklin team Friday Fri-day night. The game was very exciting and close, the score being 20-22. Our high point man was again Ladel Walton. Charles Clark was a visitor at his home in Clearfield, Utah, over the week-end. The Thatcher Outlaws were defeated de-feated for the first time this sea son Saturday night by the Troy Parisians of Pocatello. The score was 50-43. The Outlaws have purchased new suits for the tournament which 'will take place on the 13th, 14lh and 15th at Bancroft. Mrs. Murat Mendenhall is at the home of her mother, Mrs. Parley-Anderson Parley-Anderson in Grace, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Clark A. Mickelson were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Mendenhall. Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Knudsen cf Salt Lake City were business visitors visit-ors inj Thatcher Friday evening. The Lions club held a banquet and dance Monday night, the occasion occa-sion being "Ladies' Night." A large crowd was in attendance and a good time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Mendenhall entertained at a dinner Wednesday night given in honor4 of the coach, Charles Clark, the basketball squad and (ho ch"r lea ''.era as follows, Charles Clark, Phil Hansen, Han-sen, Wayna Neilsen, Keith Neilsen, Claude Mendenhall, Theron Smith Norman Smith, Edwin Nelson Merril Smith, Neil Lewis, Homer Montague, LaDell Walton, Jay For-man, For-man, LaClede Coombs, Farrell Jensen, Jack Hoopes, Leo Roper, Berdean Mendenhall, Rex Anderson, Ander-son, Nathan Smith, Odell Ransom, Delvid Rohilt, Floyd Gray, -Dean Hogan, Maxine Hogan, Ramona Rasmussen, Duchesne Mendenhall. It being on Lincoln's birthday, a patriotic color scheme was carried out, the colors being red, while and blue. Miss Lenore McGregor was entertained en-tertained as the week-end guest of Miss Lorraine Perry. Harold Smith was a visitor Friday Fri-day at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs. A. T. Smith who now le-side le-side at Pocatello, Idaho. The 'Buzzer' club of Thatcher High has purchased new club uni forms. They are skirts of rovI blue and 'sloppy Joe' sweaters' of white wool. Thei president of our club is Miss LaRue Wright. The Literary club of Thatcher gave a party for themselves and their partners last Wednesday evening at Mrs. Alma Pond's.
