He v as returning to Preston accompanied accom-panied by his sister, and blinded by lights of an approaching car he struck the shoulder of the road causing the car to roll over several times. A second accident investigated by State Patrolman occurred last Thursday afternoon at Swan Lake. A car driven by Frank Foss and occupied by Mrs. Foss and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Foss collided with a machine driven by Perry Beckstead of Swan Lake. None of the occupants occu-pants was injured, but considerable damage resulted to the automobiles. The collision occurred when the Beckstead,1 machine turned left into a driveway at Swan Lake-. Issuing a plea to cut down accidents acci-dents in this county during 1941, the state patrolman requests all drivers to "observe the courtesy of the road" by signaling on turns and dimming lights. |
