Mrs. Mary E. Call, Mrs. Kuth .MencVuhall, and Mrs. lU-l.i Kirkbride. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nelson spent Sunday at Richmond, Utah, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Hay Bell, and Mr. and Mrs, S. R. Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and families. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Kobblns were host and hostess at a Cinn:r party at their home Sunday,. Guests present were Mr. and. Mrs. Ernes! Ueutler and Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Archibald. I Mrs. William Eck entertained at a quilling at her home Thursday. Guests, present included Hazel Housley, Edna C. Hulse, Annie Wickham, Rebecca Nelson, Hazel Bobbins and Laree Berry of Preston. Pres-ton. Dinner was served. Mr. audi Mrs. Ernest Britenbeker of Preston were dinner guests of Mrs. Mary J. Jones at her home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs Fred Housley and family motored to Blackfoot Sat- urday to visit with relatives. Mr, and Mrs. Ernest Beutler entertained en-tertained at dinner on Thursday for Mrs. Niels Johnson of Hyrum, Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson and their family of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg of Fort Du-chene, Du-chene, Iowa.' Mrs. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Thompson returned to their homei Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lundberg remained for several days' visit. Mr. land Mrs. Leo Jensen, returned! return-ed! to their home at Idaho Falls on Friday after several days' visit here. Mrs. D. W. Buttars accompanied accompan-ied them, as far as Shelley, Idaho, where she will visit with her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Godfrey of C'larkston, spent a few days in Dayton visiting with Mrs. Godfrey's God-frey's brother, Irvin Page and his family and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Archibald. Mrs. Gwen Mortensen, her three children, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Call were supper guests and spent ai evening at the home of her husband s parents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew D. Mortensen at Winder. LaDawn, the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Woolley underwent under-went an operation for appendicitis on Tuesday at the Preston hospital. Mrs. D. A. Perkins visited with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. aud Mrs. Glen C. Perkins at Salt Lake City, Utah, for a few days. During the visit, Mrs. Perkins and her daughter-in-law spent a day at Provo, during Leadership Week Tuesday evening, after Mutual, the following girls met at the home of Agnes Fae Buttars in a surprise party honoring Gene Marie Crook-ston, Crook-ston, Mae Schcwartz, Wanda Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Ruby Schwartz, LuDene Achbad, MarDean DUeyj, qieo Bowden, Agnes Fae Buttars and nonored guest. Supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. James Morrison, Mr. and, Mrs. Vern Phillips of Idaho Ida-ho Falls, spent several days in Dayton Day-ton visiting with relatives and friends. Saturday evening the following couples met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Griffeth to surprise Mr. Griffeth on his birthday anniversary; anni-versary; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Winn, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Seamons, Mr, and Mrs. Douglas Griffeth, Mr.' and Mrs. Aroet Bennett of Perry, Idaho. At the close of the evening's eve-ning's entertainment pie and ice cream were served. Mrs. Irene B. Schwartz and her infant son returned home on Saturday Sat-urday from the Preston hospital. Mrs. Kenna Bergeson and her infant in-fant son returned home on Tuesday Tues-day from the Budge hospital at Logan. n |
