Show .j, Glendale GLEaXDALE , Miss Jeanine Wheeler spent Tuesday with Miss Joyce Owen. A) number of M-Men and Gleaner girls' of this community attended the meeting at Preston Second ward Tuesday evening to hear the lecture given by President Quinney. Mrs. Ada Webster called on her daughter and family Mrs. Lawrence Neuenswander at Weston Wednesday. Wednes-day. The boad of trustees, Asa L. Webster, Christian L. Larsen and Leland L. Auger visited the district school Thursday. They found that at the close of the first semester which closed last week, that tne following students: LaDeen Larsen, Lar-sen, Eva June Wanner, June Webster, Web-ster, Ellen Auger, Weldon Webster, Lucy Auger, Beverly Nelson and Shirley Webster have perfect attendance at-tendance records for the first half of the year. The following Seagull Girls: Lucy Auger, Eva June Wanner, and Marilyn Fetterborg spent Friday afternoon at the home of their instructor, Mrs. Chrissie Owen where they enjoyed themselves making candy. Miss June Webster spent the week-end with her friend Miss Patty Westerburg. Mrs. Tennie Owen had as her guests Friday Mrs. Verda Nelson and Mrs. Melva Wheeler. A group of young people pleasantly pleas-antly suprised Shirley Webster at a party Saturday evening in commemoration com-memoration of his birthday anniversary. anni-versary. All present enjoyed themselves playing games after which light refreshments were served. Herman Veihwig of Clifton, was in attendance at church here Sunday Sun-day and gave a very interesting talk in sacrament meeting. Lavaun Owen also gave a very timely talk. David Auger visited with his friend Larry Larsen, Monday. |
