Mr and Mrs. Marvin G. Jones ai-,-ived in Dayton Tuesday morning from California to arrange their affairs af-fairs so they could return to California Cali-fornia for an indefinite period Don Dalley accompanied them as far as Sacramento where he hopes to find employment. Mrs. Ivan i Petersen and her daughter, Iva Loo of Swan Lake, Idaho, visited,' at the home of Mrs. Caroline Petersen during the week. Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Stuart and sou Richard, left Dayton early Friday Fri-day morning by auto for Marysville in the Sacramento valley, California where Mr. Stuart has , employment. Prior to their departure they were special guests at several parties given in their honor. Tuesday evening Mrs. Clarence call of Preston entertained at a supper Wednesday evening-. Mrs. Fred Housley accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ear) Lloyd to Logan Saturday evening. Mrs. Lloyd entered en-tered a hospital there for a major operation. Mr. Housley accompanied, by Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Wickham motored to Logan Monday to bring his wife back home. A cottage meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Nancy Jones on Wednesday evening, under the direction di-rection of the following stake home missionaries: Moroni,: L. Phillips, Eldon Hobbs, Irvin, Robbins and DareH Rogers. Mrs. Ellis Johnson and her two children of Beaver Dam; Utah, spent a few days visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and. Mrs. D. W. Buttars. A party was held Monday evening eve-ning for all members; of the Scout organization of the Dayton ward the parents of the Scouts and the bishopric and and their wives were invited. Refreshments were served after which everybody enjoyed roller skating. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Callister , and Mr. and Mrs. Brown Pitcher I of Cornish, Utah, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Christensen, Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Lyman Balls spent a few days at Providence, Utah, visiting I with her mother, Mrs. Rose Scheuk. I The Misses Joyce Checketts and Cloma Balls gave the 22 minute talks in Sunday School Sunday morning. M. L. Phillips has taken over the Shell Service station, recently operated by Mr. and Mrs. O.
