Show Washington County Youth Victim of Hit And Run Driver Garland Turner 18 of Washington Washing ton was the victim of what Sheriff Antone Prince of Washington county county county coun coun- ty described as a hit and run driver at Hurricane early Monday morning Sheriff Prince who investigated the accident reported that Mr Turner who was employed by the Associated Gas company at St St. StGeorge StGeorge George drove to Hurricane with Rex flex of Washington Sunday evening while Mr went to call caU on a friend the Turner youth routh waited outside a cafe in Hurri liurni- cane On his way back to pick lick up his companion Mr reported he fet the car run over an object in the road Upon investigation he found it to be the crushed body of Turner who had apparently been struck down and killed Instantly by bya a run hit-run driver No clue as to the identity of the driver has been dis dis- dis- dis covered Mr Turner a son of James E.
