Show FRANKLIN - Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Doney left Friday for Boulder City, Nevada, where they will visit at tilie home of their niece Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jeline. They were accompanied )y Mr. and Mrs. Eric Hendricks of Lewislon. Among those who called on Mr. and Mrs. James Robinson on Mothers' Moth-ers' Diiy were Mr. and Mrs. ltay Robinson and family of Salt Lake ,:ify, Mrs. Mary Allen of Ogden and Mrs. Sadie Roebuck of Pocalello. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Robinson entertained, en-tertained, friends at their home on Saturday evening, celebrating their eighlli wedding anniversary. Miss Leone Neeley and Miss Jale Atkinson returned home from Boise where they are attending chool to visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harv Neeley and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Atkinson over me week-end. Mrs. Garnet Woodward entertained enter-tained the Jolly Neighbors club at her home Thursday afternoon. Bridge was played with score honors hon-ors going to Mrs. J. O. Cooke and Mrs. Joe Johnson. It was sponsored by the First ward Sunday School. Miss Robinson won first prize with a reading in the age group which included all up to 12 years. The Franklin high school band played in a concert sponsored by the Pioneer City Lions club with the proceeds going1 into the church building fund, Friday evening. Special Spe-cial parts were given by the Rhythm Band which includes all children in the first, second and third grades. It was under the direction di-rection of Miss Alice Caldwell and Miss Mary Beatty. A short comical comi-cal skit under the direction oi Vinton Merrill was given. Characters Charac-ters were played by Miss Meda Chatterton, Lyman Jensen, Howard How-ard Christensen and Devar Geary. Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson and family of Logan and Mrs. Vaughn Greaves of Preston were guests at the home of Mr. ana Mrs. Vernon Oliverson, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Robinson spent tilie week-end in Malad visiting visit-ing at the home of Mrs. Pearl Williams. Wil-liams. Lance Adamson left last week and Ether Biggs will leave this week for Pocalello where they will attend a six months' government training course at tlhe University of Idaho.
