A deficiency in snow cover is particular- evident on the higher elevations, with the water content running 30 per cent below normal and 1G per cent below that of last year, the report shows. Bear lake s low. with 425.000 acre feet now in storage and a maximum of 440.000 expected this season. It filled to G7S.OU0 acre feet in 1910 and 900,000 acre feet in 1939. Underground water levels in Cache Valley area are generally lower than they were a year ago, it was reported. A few exceptions exist where major repairs have been effected, and where use last season was reduced to a minimum. |
