Show - YOUNG COUPLE ANNOUNCE MARRIAGE PLANS Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Checketts of Dayton announce this w-eek the engagement and marriage of their daughter, Wanda, to Dean Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Palmer of Winder The marriage ceremony will be performed in the Logan Temple on Friday, December 19. Miss Ghecketts is a former graduate grad-uate of the Preston high school and has been employed at the Johnson John-son Drug company in Preston. Mr Palmer has attended, school at the Ricks college and the Utah State Agricultural college. He also completed com-pleted a mission in the South Sea Islands. Following their marriage the young couple will leave for a wedding wed-ding trip along the west coast before be-fore returning to Tremonton to make their home. Mrs. Checketts and Mrs. Milton Cutler entertained Saturday at the Cutler home with a trousseau tea honoring Miss Checketts. Colors of white and yellow prevailed m the arrangements of the home. Bouquet corsages of Mrs. Checketts Check-etts and Mrs. Palmer were of pink carnations and yellow chrysanthemums chrysanthe-mums and the bride wore orchid sweet peas and pink roses. Mrs. Cutler gieted the guests during the afternoon with Mrs. Vince Buttars assisting and regis tering those calling. Mrs. Lucille Stangen presided in the gift room and Mrs. Glenda Bodily supervised the trousseau rooms. Guests were served by Miss Beulah Palmer and Miss Evelyn Checketts. Approximately Ap-proximately one hundred and fifty viewed the bride's trousseau. |
