Show Parowan Pioneer A At t Final Rest John Stevens 77 of Parowan died at athis athis athis his home Wednesday of last week following following fol tol- lowing loving a paralytic stroke which he suffered several days before He lIeu was one of the early pioneers of Parowan having come to America with his family family fam farrr- ily in 1862 coming to Utah with ox teams a and d locating in Parowan where he had lived since that time He lie was born in London England Englard in 1857 He lIe is survived by his wife Carah Ann Stevens eight sons cons and daughters daughters daughters daugh daugh- John Robert Walter and Orlen Orien Stevens Cowley Wyo Edwin and Clair Stevens Mrs Sarah S. S Hulet Mrs Lorena S. S Davis and Miss Fedora Stevens Parowan 40 grandchildren two great grandchildren and a sister Mrs Emily S.
