Smith of Smithfield, were th I members of the M.I.A. stake boarc who attended the Clarkston M.I I A. conference held Sunday evening, even-ing, May 29. Arnold Rasmusser I was in charge of the meeting Reports were given by President Ella Loosle and President L. La Rue Godfrey; talks were giver by Mary O. Thompson, Byron Ravsten Kenneth Thompson and Viola Peterson; special musical numbers were given by a ladies chorus' and a mixed quartet, Mrs Daisy Burt directing, Sarah Heg-gie Heg-gie accompanist. 1 Principal Joseph P. Malmberg and Barson Godfrey took the graduating class to Preston on Thursday where the class had their pictures taken and enjoyed a picture show. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Heggie were the guests of honor at a wedding dance held in the Clarkston Clark-ston amusement hall Friday evening. ev-ening. 185 gusts enjoyed the dance and the following program with John Heggie in charge: duet Joice and Gerald Godfrey of Smithfield; solo Aleen Hanson of Dayton Idaho; solo Mrs. Seth Godfrey of Smithfield; duet Misses Fern and Jessie Boss of Garland; solo Don Ktrkham of Logajn;, lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Heggie received many beautiful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Godfrey and -Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Heggie were hostesses. |
