Show Geo. S. Spencer Died Monday of Spotted Fever George S. Spencer, 63, sheepman, who maintains a home in Logan at 336 South, First west street, died Monday at his ranch near Dingle, Idaho, from spotted feves which developed following, a bite by a wood tick. Mr. Spencer was born at Salt Lake City in 1875, a son of William Wil-liam J. and Rachel Bennion Spencer. Spen-cer. He had been a sheepman 40 years, operating a large sheep ranch near Dingle. He had been ill with the fever for seven days. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lity North Spencer; six sons and daughters: W. S. Spencer of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; Pearl, Mon-dell, Mon-dell, Paul and Bennion Spencer and Mrs. John F. Hawkins of Logan; Lo-gan; five brothers and sisters; W. 'e. Spencer of Emmett, Idaho; jjohn B. Spencer of Cokeville, 'wtyo.; Mrs. Edith Hill, Mrs. Fred j Player and Mrs. Hyrum Welling, !all of Salt Lake City. I Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted in the Logan Sixth ward 'chapel Friday, at 1 p. m with burial in the Logan cemetery, un-Ider un-Ider the direction of Lindquist & Sons' mortuary. |
