Show i PARADISE o 1 Paradise, Friday afternoon in the Paradise ward chapel the Junior Jun-ior girls of the Hyrum staken en-.tertained en-.tertained the mothers with the : following program: Prayer Third ward, Hyrum; girls' chorus, First jward, Hyrum; trumpet solo, First jward, Hyrum; play, Hyrum Second Se-cond ward; dance, Eyrurd Third iward; Song, Paradise; play, Mill-:Ville; Mill-:Ville; song and piano solo, Men-don; Men-don; song, Avon. Toast mistress, Betty Allen; community singing, closing, prayer, Paradise ward. Refreshments Re-freshments were served by the different dif-ferent wards to 125. I Decoration Day was observed by decorating the graves of our honored hon-ored dead and a dance n the evening closed the day's event. Mr. and Mrs. George Love and family of Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Trueman Call and son Jimmy of Afton; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rice of Brigham were guests of Mrs. Mae Spencer Decoration day. . It would be impossble to mention all the people who came from far and near to decorate the graves of their beloved ones. Mrs. Martha Burrel of Avon was brought home Saturday from a Logan hospital where she has been treated for every severe injuries in-juries which resulted' from a fall causing several broken bones. , |
