Show MR. AND MRS. JOHN GILGEN CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING Wednesday June 1st marked the ! Golden Wedding anniversary of jMr. and Mrs. John Gilgen of 735 ! East 8th North, Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Gilgen are pioneer i settlers of Logan, coming here ififty years ago. They have been ivery active and prominent in the affairs of the church and always i willing to lend a helping hand. 'They have made a host of friends 'who extend their sincere congrat-' congrat-' ulations. In 1895 Mr. Gilgen went ion a mission to Switzerland returning re-turning late in 1897. He has work-led work-led 38 years at the Utah Ag:icul-itural Ag:icul-itural college, retiring last year. Mr. and Mrs. Gilgen are the .proud parents of eight living 'children, ten grand children and ;one great-grandchild, i The old home was a scene - of gay activity Wednesday, all their children were ' able to come home land be with them in a grand fami'y reunion.
