Show HAS EIGHT RIBS REMOVED lAND IS STILL OPTIMISTIC ! Henry Winkle, proprietor of the Gunnison Bakery, and who has been at Salt Lake for the past several weeks, being, confined at a hospital, passed through Gunnison Monday on his way to Richfield, and soon after the first of the year he will return to the hospital for further treatment. Henry submitted to an operation that required the removal of six of his ribs during his recent trip to the hospital. Infection, as a result of complications com-plications arising since he was accidentally acci-dentally shot about twenty months ago, necessitated the last operation. On a previous occasion Henry had two ribs removed, making a total of eight being taken from his left side. Notwithstanding the ordeal through which he has passed Henry is optimistic optim-istic and declares he will be ready to return to his duties about March 1st. |
