Show Vitality Important The vitality of the chicks naturally depends on the degree of vitality possessed pos-sessed by the parent stock, and we cannot expect strong and sturdy chicks from poorly fed hens and cocks, wintered win-tered in poor breeding houses budly ventilated and where perhaps the sun never shines. It Is a well known fact that chickens from ill-fed flocks suffer from an all too common disease, dis-ease, recognized by the Incomplete absorption of the yolk of the egg after hatching. |
