Show Horses are increasing in numbers or their feet are receiving better attention, at-tention, according to a recent census j bureau report. In 1931 only 43,900 kegs of horseshoe nails were produc- J ed in the United States, while in 1933 the output reached 57,915 kegs. It: appears that many persons, especially farmers, are laying up automobiles and motor-driven machinery and go ing back to the employment of horses 1 1 and mules. High gasoline taxes are no ; I doubt responsible for this trend. |
